Exalting Jesus because He’s worthy
19 years of night and day worship and prayer!
On Feb 12, 2006, a worship & prayer meeting started at GateCity House of Prayer (formerly IHOP Atlanta) that continues to this day. At the center of who we are is our 24/7 Prayer Room, inspired by David's tabernacle (1 Chronicles 23:5, 25:7), where singers and musicians were employed as their full-time occupation to minister to the Lord and serve the community. Through daily worship-led prayer meetings, we make sure the fire of night and day worship and prayer never ceases.
What to Expect
At any time, day or night, you can come to our main sanctuary and find a worship-led prayer meeting taking place, including all weekends and holidays. At times, there will be an entire worship team. At other times, there will be a single individual leading worship and prayer. You are welcome to bring your computer or Bible and engage in personal worship or study at your leisure. Free Wi-Fi is available. Prayer meetings typically take place in 1-2 hour segments, with teams changing at the top of the hour. There is a communion station available with elements for a time of personal communion. Check out the list of special prayer meetings below for times of corporate worship and intercession.

SPECIAL NIGHT OF PRAYER FOR THE MUSLIM WORLD:
MARCH 27TH, 9PM-1Am
For the first 13 centuries of Islam, virtually no Muslims came to Christ. But over the last 50 years, and especially in the 21st century, we are seeing explosive revival for the first time in the history of Islam! Ramadan is a time when Muslims seek Allah through prayer and fasting. It culminates in the “Night of Power”, in which many Muslims pray through the night, crying out to Allah for divine encounters. Join us in the GateCity Prayer Room on Thursday March 27th from 9pm-1am, as we also engage with prayer on the Night of Power, asking God that those who seek Allah would find Jesus.
