What is the Curriculum for Year 1 and Year 2?
Year 1: Core Messages & Foundations of the FaithMondays – Core Messages:First-year students participate in classroom teaching and small groups focused on
rotating Core Messages from the following themes:
- Knowledge of God – deepening intimacy and understanding
- Kingdom Lifestyle – living faithfully in obedience and love
- Breakthrough & Revival – contending for spiritual breakthrough and revival
- Justice & Compassion – practicing God’s heart through service and outreach
- Eschatology – gaining perspective and urgency for God’s Kingdom to come
Mondays also include the opportunity to engage with the Lord in the Prayer Room, with assignments designed to deepen fellowship with God.
Wednesdays – Foundations of the Faith:Wednesdays are devoted to a one-year curriculum covering essential Christian beliefs
and practices, including:
- Essential doctrines of the Christian faith
- How to read and interpret Scripture
- Prayer and spiritual disciplines
- Sharing one’s faith
- Godly and faithful living
Year 2: Core Messages Intensive & Prayer Room PracticumMondays – Core Messages Intensive:Second-year students attend classroom teaching and small group discussion alongside first year students in Core Messages Intensive classes that were not covered the previous year.
Mondays also include the opportunity to engage with the Lord in the Prayer Room, with assignments designed to deepen fellowship with God.
Prayer Room Practicum:
On one Monday of each month, second-year students will receive teachings and assignments that equip them to go even deeper in their time with the Lord during an extended time in the Prayer Room.
Wednesdays – Monthly Rotating Experiences:Year 2 students attend one Wednesday each month, rotating between the following:
- Chapel Night – worship, communion, and shared fellowship meal
- Outreach Night – hands-on service and faith-sharing opportunities
- Fun Night – off-campus activities to enjoy fellowship and build community
This rotation repeats each quarter, allowing Year 2 students to join first-year students for a balanced mix of worship, service, and community-building activities.
