GateCity Students

GateCity Students exists to ensure that every student knows that God is real, that a relationship with their Savior Jesus is available, and that they can experience the power of the Holy Spirit working in them, with them, through them, and for them. Therefore, we seek to engage in teaching and celebrating the authority and importance of God's Word, receiving His love, expressing our love for Him, and developing an intimate dialogue and communication with Him for the purpose of personal communion and fellowship.

We don’t see children’s ministry as babysitting, but as a powerful opportunity for students to experience God for themselves.

The Holy Spirit is no respecter of age. We have found that by introducing students to Him at a young age, they are able to develop a deep and vibrant relationship with Jesus.

Meet the Pastor

Christopher Peterson

My name is Christopher Peterson and I, along with Luciris, Cici, Tim, & our team of amazing leaders & volunteers, have the privilege of partnering with our parents in the process of preparing our kids and students, your children and God’s next generation, to fulfill His call on their lives.

We believe that you are never too young to know the love of our savior Jesus Christ...To experience the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit, while bringing glory to our indescribable heavenly Father.

Our goal is to create an environment where our kids and students are discipled, encouraged & equipped to not just survive living in this fallen world that continues to move farther & farther from the truth, but to thrive as they take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves in these exciting times in which we live.

We celebrate & acknowledge the different seasons that make up a child’s life while taking advantage of the relationships that develop when kids and students of all ages pursue God together.

We are excited to experience all that God has in store for everyone in this body of believers, as he works in us, through us, and for us. We serve an infinite limitless God and are looking forward to watching him exceed our imagination & expectations as He accomplishes His purpose and plans with the young people of this family of faith!
